Damien v. Kelli

It was the airport security worker who had survived a fatal shooting vs. the single mom who left teaching to pursue singing. Kelli had the tougher task since she had issues with stage fright and also overthinking the song, the classic “Knock on Wood” (kudos for Adam for clearing something we haven’t heard on the show before). They both did great in rehearsal to the point adviser Stevie Nicks threatened to come back and steal whomever didn’t get chosen. But on battle night, it was all Damien for me.

I wish Stevie would smile more. She has such a beautiful smile. She always looks so serious, maybe it is a very serious show, but I just wish she smiled more.

I think she wants to be serious with the performers and get through to them and get the point across .I noticed Adam was not smiling much too.
She's a business woman on the show lending her talents and years of know how out to them.I wish I had her for a school teacher .I probably be in a better position now if I had a teachers like her.

I love the old R&B tunes.The couple on the show sound great. Stevie likes Diana Ross and the Supremes and Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
