You are right it isn't very Christian like. I have also never claimed to be a model Christian dear...or even a nice person for that matter. At least to those who don't treat me with the same respect. You get what you give...

BUT...anyways...back on topic.

Ok thanks for the clarification.I guess I missed the thread where he was equally rude and tacky towards you.

ehh...seems a lot of folks did.

Although I do have to admit that I don't "hint" at rudeness or walk around it like some. When I want to be mean...I'm just mean!

I guess one is encouraged to be more passive aggressive on message boards...that just ain't me.

OK...now really...back to defending ITM.

Homer, you can speak for me. You are right, of course.

Only you could bring a "colonoscopy" into a discussion in the Chris forum. You gave me a good laugh to start the morning.

No, you are irrational and childlike in your presentation of the miscontrued ideas you call facts. Then, when someone dares to tell you the facts as they are, you are like a little girl who is told she cannot have a new party dress.

Careful dear - they do not like it when the mirror casts their reflection back at them, and as always, it is truthful.

Come on folks, I think we should all chill out a bit. Let's not make the Chris forum a spooky place. We're all entitled to our opinions of ITM; we're all entitled to have our favorite member of FM...and Stevie and Chris can occasionally be compared without the world coming to an end. Relax, kids. You're making me sad.

I agree that In the Meantime is a little too... shall we say easy listening, but as Diss said, it's not offensive at all.

On the other hand...

TISL almost brilliant? I don't know about that. In fact I find that album to be absolutely horrid as I've made no secret of in the past. It really was the last nail in the coffin of my Nicks fandom.

I've also made no secret of the fact that I am a Buckingham fan. But guess what? I HATED Shut Us Down, and if LB were to make an album of songs that sounded even remotely like that one I would be a very unhappy Buckinghamaniac indeed.

What it comes down to is that none of the members of Fleetwood Mac are gods. All of them are quite capable of putting out music that some of even their most dedicated fans would call "mediocre" or just plain "bad," but so what? That doesn't mean that Christine, Stevie, Lindsey or anyone are bad artists nor does it mean that anyone on this board doesn't like a particular member just because they criticise a particular piece of work.

I'm not interested in watching grown people be reduced to whiny children who can't believe they're sharing their playground with the kids across the street at the mere sight of a "chiffonhead," or whatever the case may be. We can't be the least bit critical of ITM. Did it occur to no one that dontlookdown might be a Christine fan who simply doesn't like ITM?

I'm already at the end of my rope on other matters so I've about had it.

And at the end there? You brought Stevie into it. Just randomly. This wasn't even about her at all.
Chill out. ALL I meant was that I DON'T come to Chris' forum to argue, and am not interested in doing such.

In the end there, it appears(to me, anyway), that the people who are coming here to argue are, in general, from a different neighborhood, looking for a little trouble.
I'm sorry that other matters aren't going well for you.
