Default Bonnie Bramlett...(ROSEANNE)

Did you know that the woman who played "BONNIE" on ROSEANNE when it was on was actually Bonnie Bramlett..Who is our very own Beckka's mom...

Hey Adam,

I thought I heard that she was on there but I never actually saw any of those particular episodes, maybe I'll catch one sometime on a rerun or something. Thanks for confirming it though.

John

And Bonnie's character's husband was played by David Crosby.

I first learned that "Bonnie" was played by Bonnie Bramlett in 1992, when Mick, Bekka, and Billy Thorpe did Rockline (a week after Lindsey did the show).

However, I knew she was a singer who probably had a name. David Crosby wouldn't sing on a TV show with just anybody. Then, I saw her singing back-up for Lynyrd Skynrd at one of the Farm Aid shows on TV, and recognized her from "Roseanne." Again, they don't seem like the type who'd let a supporting actress on a TV show sit in with the band. What was throwing me off was that she was going by Bonnie Sheridan. Oddly enough, after the Skynyrd thing, I would always think "there's the rock singer" whenever she was on the show.

So, when I DID learn she was the singer formerly known as Bonnie Bramlett, it wasn't a huge shock. If anything, I was angry that I didn't figure it out sooner.

There are some great clips of Delaney and Bonnie out there.
They sure were groovy!
