My daughter had her one year check up today and had to have FIVE shots. Not a happy day.

I deicded to watch 'Divas' on vh1 tonight because for some reason I expected to see Stevie (silly right?). I quickly realized it wasn't an award show and that it was really just a concert from 'today's singers'. So I was dissapointed but I'm still continuing to watch it anyway. I just watched Martina McBride and Jordan Sparks sing a duet and I was blown away. So it hasn't been as bad as I had thought it would be

Ten days: September 12th to September 22nd.

Four concerts:
Power to the Peaceful Festival (Michael Franti & Spearhead and Alanis Morissette being most notable performers) on Saturday
Lynyrd Skynyrd Tuesday
Ben Harper Thursday (tonight)
AND Bon Iver this coming Tuesday.

I am so tired BUT these shows are so worth it... I am the most excited for Bon Iver, though.

I have a beautiful cat and her name is Jewel. She's 7. All black. She's my baby, I'm her momma.

But she has major issues. She will just eat and eat and puking ususally follows (this started recently). She sleeps in the weirdest places (the bathtub, dryer, in my closet, on my tummy, etc...). She obsessivly cleans herself for hours. Sleeps. Wakes back up and starts cleaning all over again. She's jealous of anybody I give any attention to other than her. She hates my mom's boyfriend. She has issues hahaha.
JTIS because her weirdness reached an all time high today. And she's on my tummy right now cleaning herself. She won't move, I've tried moving her. Aahhhhhh!!

Funny. But I wonder if maybe Her Highness has "indulgences," rather than "issues?" I'd suggest asking her but she might get
pissy about it and then have even more indulgences for the rest of the day. . . . . .

There is nothing more irritating than finally making amends with your closest friend in the world after 6 months of barely speaking.... only to have a mutual aquaintance shake up the trust again.

I have recently begun making a concerted effort to eat less salt. Heart health and all. It is in so many foods, and it's so easy to go over the amount considered safe to eat! So I'm always comparing nutrition labels. Entire sections of the grocery store are practically off-limits now.
