Default Release dates

Ok, I know that Rumours was released on 2-4-77. But I've heard 2 different dates on Tusk, 9-24-79, and 10-12-79. I always thought it was the latter. anyone know for sure?

The really odd thing is that Time was released exactly 15 years to the day after Tusk.

Ok, you got me there! I didn't get Rumours until after I'd gotten Mirage! (I was 12!)

Well...let me run over to the Penguin discography...{hint, hint}

Only lists it as "October 1979".

Me too! (13)

All 1982 purchases: Bella Donna --> Mirage --> Rumours --> White Album/Tusk --> Bare Trees

Then New Wave distracted me for a while (Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Thompson Twins), but when The Wild Heart hit in 1983 I was sucked back in. And everything released since then, I've bought on release day as soon as they open the damn doors.

check this out: I didn't get ANY of them until after I got Tango in the Night!! 1987. I was 17. And between October '87 when I saw them live, and probably December '87, I bought everything from the White album through Rock a Little. And the rest, as they say, is history....
