She has her defenders on social media who are as crazy as she is. One messaged me privately saying I should kill myself for calling out Carol on the factual errors in the book and her constant FM name dropping to get some kind of recognition or financial gain. Pretty crazy. I blocked her because she is truly nuts.

I truly wonder wth she wants. Does she want him back? Does she want him to get on his knees and beg for forgiveness?Does she think he owes her financially? I truly don't get it. It is like she still loves him and hates him in the same breath.
Can't help thinking about that part of the book where Stevie goes all Mermaid Man from SpongeBob on Carol. Maybe she was right all along. Maybe Carol really is "EVIL EVIL EVIL!!!!"

Most of the ones I know of have already been mentioned here. An interesting one I haven’t seen mentioned yet is Danny Goldberg’s book. He has a whole chapter about his time working around Stevie (and in turn) other members of FM in late 70s/early 80s. It’s primarily about founding Modern Records for her and the process behind creating Bella Donna. But there’s interesting little tidbits on her relationship with Mick as well (which was, according to DG, still a sore spot when she was beginning her solo ventures), and some of the dynamics of FM. I was pretty interested in the tale of how Iovine entered the picture as well. Was a quick, entertaining read. I think the book’s free on google books or something, I remember reading that whole chapter online.
