You know! He's kind of dirty, and wears makeup, and has a small build. But I think he's sexy as hell. Of course, I used to think Tommy Lee was sexy before he had hepatitis, so....

I find Navarro to be a phony dirtbag, which is why I don't like him.

I'm having trouble getting into this season of Rockstar. Last year was sort of fun because it brought back INXS nostalgia and I got to look at JD twice a week. The contestants were also a lot more interesting last year, in my opinion.

Lukas is obviously setting himself up as the aggressive and competitive "bad boy", a la JD Fortune. Dilana still frightens me, but my money is on her already.

What was that guy thinking doing a Duran Duran song?

Is it just a coincidence that the entire front row is filled with pretty young chicks with huge knockers?

And I guess I'm really getting quite old, but I find this kind of "dialogue" to be close to intolerable:

Navarro: "Dude, what's up"
Dude: "Chillin'"
Navarro: "Right on, dude. So, any regrets about last night's performance, man?"
Dude: "Nah, I gotta be me, and rock and roll is all about being yourself, know what I mean?"
Navarro: "Right on. It's rock and roll dude".

I still have feelings for Tommy Lee. In spite of his Hep. And I fear that this show is making me fall deeper in love with him....

This season of contestants are freaks.

I wouldn't pay to see them live or buy an album. I'm not impressed.

I like three of the girls- that's it. Dilana, Storm, and the girl that played the guitar just now (can't think of her name).

Magni-My Generation-good, most improved performer compared to last week.

Jenny-Tainted Love-meh-I found her eye make-up distracting - cracked up when Dave told her she looked starving and to eat a sammich.

Jill-Violet-she sucked!! And Dave was right, how could anyone NOT know that album cover? I also felt that Jill was copying Dilana's manic performance from last week. Like she was thinking, "Oh, that's what they like? Okay, I'll do that." Wrong!

Zayra-You Really Got Me-I keep wanting her to do a Pretenders song, w/ that haircut she has. She sucked. And insulting the band was a bad idea. She probably thought Van Halen wrote it...

Chris-Take Me Out-he should have been taken out last week. Hate him.

Dilana-Ring of Fire-loved it-loved her outfit-but I keep hearing Marianne Faithful whenever she opens her mouth. She's got a unique look, but I want more from her singing. I think she'll make the top 3, since the band seems to adore her, and she would be a good fit.

Josh-Arms Wide Open-bleech. He does nothing for me.

Phil-If You Could Only See-see comment above re: Josh. I don't get why the band likes him so much either. He also needs to eat a sammich.

Storm-Surrender-I liked it, and totally agreed w/ the band re: the Broadway comments. She needs to quit making the cheesy facial expressions.

Patrice-Heart Shaped Box-Major points for playing the guitar. Despite the botched lyrics, the band loves her, she's got nothing to worry about. Did she really f*ck up or was her mike f*cked up? I was out of the room for a few seconds.

Ryan-Jumpin' Jack Flash-Nothing "rocker" about him to me. He screamed the end, and was off-key as well. He looks like Jerry Seinfeld's brother, not a rock star.

Dana-Born to Be Wild-she can sing, but she's too young. And dressing up like a rocker doesn't make you one.

Lukas-Coldplay song-He took a risk w/ the ballad-esque song choice. He nailed it. He'll make the top 3, despite the mongloid look and huge forehead he's got going on...

Toby-Killers song-good voice, good stage presence, but I'm just not picturing him in Supernova. Sorry...

I'm voting for: Patrice, Lukas, Storm and Dilana. Just like last week....maybe I'll throw a bone to Magni as well.

I loved Dilana tonight. The band is getting a little tougher on the contestants. I thought they were a bit rough on the girls. I liked Zayra's performance too. I'm sure she'll have a career.

I just finished watching the reality footage on rockstar.msn.com.

It's worse than I thought: Zayra had never heard of "You Really Got Me." Ever. During rehearsals, the house band thought she sucked. They don't care much for Chris either.

There's also footage of Jill fawning all over Dilana, "I love the way you perform, it's very inspiring." So inspiring that she stole her act.

Thanks for the recap, Livia. I'm pissed that I missed it (stupid f*cking Tivo, I can't keep track of what I want to record when & it taped Kathy Griffin....hey wait - was Rockstar on at 8 or 9? Cuz if it was on at 8, something's screwy with my Tivo....)

OK, anyway. I'll have to find vid of Dilana doing Ring of Fire. I adore that song, it inadvertantly became our wedding song (long story...) Do they post the performances on the website? I love that freaky bitch.

Violet - the Hole song? Fantastic song. But Jill - isn't she the tiny blond? Hmmm....

Surrender - the Cheap Trick tune? That's cool, I like Storm.
