OK, on listening to it again, I realize it's Stevie, but "modified" or whatever. Yeah, that's her "ooh" - just not her register. I also think that when they were jacking around with it to make it higher, they lost some of the warmth and distinctive timbre of her voice in the process. That's why I didn't recognize it; I was listening for her real voice. I can hear that in the background sometimes and at the end.

Yep.

Someone earlier likened it to her voice on Too Far From Texas. I think they've tweaked it in the same way on this one; the difference is her natural voice is even more deteriorated now than it was in 2001 on TISL.
