Two new guys

Stevie's dancing her way

She was just off pitch
She was just, off pitch
And the memory of Lindsey who

Hey
You, Stevie, ditched him
Uh-oh oh.
Kudos, this was great!

[QUOTE=Keith;1235882]finally watched the Ellen Show clips of the band. Hmmm...

"The Chain" was ok, but needed the microphones of both Stevie and Christine's turned up. I'm really not of fan of Neil Finn's voice here - nothing against the talented dude, but he's not Lindsey and I think the band should stay away from doing Lindsey's songs on the tour. I really liked Mike Campbell's playing - not comparing him to Lindsey because there isn't any in the context of Fleetwood Mac.

For me, "Gypsy" live will never be able to duplicate the beautiful studio version and Stevie did sound a bit rough here. In honesty, this song needs to be pared down and be done like the live version from the 2000 Arizona Heart Institute Benefit (my favorite live version of "Gypsy" by far - it's so beautiful). But then again Lindsey did play on that song so maybe skip this one also on the upcoming tour.

At least the live audience at the Ellen show seemed to be enjoying the new version of "Fleetwood Mac." I just don't know.. yet.

You DO know they pump up the audience and INSTRUCT them to act this way right? I would not be surprised if those crazed fans were from Central Casting. I am in the business, done ALL the time. They were way over the top.

With Lindsey gone, I will not have the opportunity to give a proper goodbye (in my mind) nor allow me to close out this important part of my life in a meaningful way. This is not the end of the world, and certainly there are bigger problems out there. But it’s important to me and by reading these posts over the months, it’s important to many.

Had the band decided to throw in the towel, I would still have been disappointed but it wouldn’t have been so upsetting. Putting together this ridiculous new band and having the ****ing nerve to have The Chain be their choice to debut - it’s an egregious slap in the face and shows so much disrespect for fans who have stuck with them during all of their drama and games. Because we live them.

The next slap will be during the tour when Stevie dedicates Landslide to everyone who has supported the band.

I feel exactly the same

A bunch of white women. Where were the men?
I guess they've got jobs and don't have time to
go to a television show taping.

They were over the top. That was an easy tell.

I feel much the same way as you do about this. And I'm 60 years old and been a fan of the band since the 1970's.The band members are going to have to discuss in upcoming interviews what happened with Lindsey and why in more detail.Whether they like it or not.It should be interesting to see what Stevie and the rest of them are going to say about it.Also looking forward to a longer interview with Lindsey, what he will say about all this.

Its been along time since I posted on here.I still read the Ledge.I don't have the time to post much online anymore. Its horrible, cruel, stupid, uncaring, very sad, the lack of loyalty and love Mick, Stevie and the band has shown toward Lindsey. The bands Legacy means nothing to them.Just another big money grab.I have no interest in seeing that tribute band now perform live in concert.I'm glad Lindsey kept his integrity, ethics, etc.I support Lindsey and respect him, proud of him. And love his guitar playing and solo albums and the music he made with Fleetwood Mac.We love you Lindsey.Everyone have a safe and great weekend and take care.

Its important to remember thart no one falls into a simple set of labels.
