but then he recorded SWS and i was shocked how fresh and great those songs sounded. and i heard him live at Saban... and at all those other shows in the last 2 years. and he did a huge tour completely alone. and wrote and recorded all these other new songs we have yet to hear (so i'll reserve my judgement there). but he's recording, touring, and releasing stuff at a breakneck speed and seems happy while doing it. so imo, he's definitely at least at as much of a peak now as he was in the late 90s when he recorded GOS1. which makes this great time to be a LB fan!

Bass Hall is the best produced. And the sequencing is superb. And the sound of CAD and SUD live! WOOOW!!!!!

But I suppose it's like bootleg recordings, it depends on where the recorder is stationed as to how annoying the background noise is going to be -- and of course on whether noise is coming from people in the recorder's general vicinity or not. At any rate, it's your opinion and there's no right or wrong when it comes to that. I know what you mean about other people kvetching. My friends used to have no patience with my snowy videos. I didn't care how bad the image was, I would still look at a video and they were not interested in straining to see a picture. These days I don't look myself because it's mostly on VHS and although I have 3 VHS recorders in my closet, I don't have them hooked up. Plus, tv screens are so huge now that videos that were bad in the first place are horrible now. So, I don't bother with them much. Michele |

^I have three DVD recorders and I do make that promise to transfer to myself too. Before I moved I transferred about 30 hours, but that was 30 out of, probably 3000. I still have a Betamax recorder too.
Luckiky, the Mirage show is on DVD and I will look at that when I get home, because I have some Lindsey and Christine work to do. |

Yeah, the place where outdated devices go to die.
The thing is, the new televisions don't even have connections for these things anymore. I had to go on Ebay and spend $50 to get a composite to HDMI converter, just to hook up an older tivo. It's a funny thing how Lindsey is not on the cover of the Mirage DVD with the rest of the band and he is on the cover of the Tango dvd (which just made me more upset than I already was about Cage). Although, maybe the confusing covers can be attributed to the fact that I have my copies of these concerts from Brazil and I don't think they are quite legit, despite the fact that I purchased them on Amazon. Oh, wow, Michele. That's a true hot mess. Well, at least they're all in one place...I think mine are spread out. And you don't want to see my "hey, I might need that cable one day" box...
