Sounds like a plan...

This actually makes perfect sense. Camp Stevie wants the focus on her album since Stevie does have a label and a finished album with an upcoming release date to market. Obviously the Mac has neither a label (to our knowledge) nor a finished album. Camp Stevie doesn't want to cannibalize the sales of her album with the prospect of a Mac album soon to follow.

I think you're right on both counts. Glastonbury is a sure sign FM will do at least a Euro tour at the bare minimum. And hitting Glastonbury is definitely an absolute must- it's probably the single most important music festival in the world at the moment. Performing there would really be one of the best ways to cement the current incarnation of the band, and prime international audiences for a new album.

In general I feel a bit more upbeat following the recent interview- at least there is some mention of an album. I'm keeping positive 2015 will be a big year for the band.

However, if Stevie elects not to tour into 2015 then to hell with it;
Rope in Bekka, Rick and Jeremy and go out with a full-on Fleetwood Mac extravaganza (sans Stevie) and then call it a day for good!

An "All Star" Fleetwood Mac line up sounds interesting...Didn't the Doobie Brothers do something similar a while back??? I believe they had a tour with different line up's from different eras all in the same show...
