MY NASHVILLE PHOTOS - Hotel/Front Row/Limo (35MM)
And for my second post... I attended the Nashville Saturday night. My second show in two nights (was at the Atlanta show Friday night). This time, with front row seats and my camera!
I really enjoyed both nights. Comparing: the energy of the crowd was better in Atlanta, because as general admission, there was a big crowd standing at the stage, packed close together (vs. most of the people in Nashville sitting down the entire night and relatively quiet). But the audio sound quality in Nashville was extraordinary - very impressive. At times I felt like I was listening on a Bose home sound system. On Saturday, not only did I get to see Lindsey at my hotel lobby, I got to play his guitar during GYOW! Right after I got to play, I was so excited, I was jumping up and down like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh! (My wife is now calling me Tigger, LOL.) During Fleetwood Mac's SYW tour I got to play his guitar then too - I always thought that would be a treasured once in a lifetime experience, and I am so thrilled to have had the chance again! Plus, Saturday night I got Lindsey's autograph on the cover of his new CD. I feel really lucky to have had such a great experience. My photos are on flickr, and am posting them here, enjoy! As always, love to hear feedback on photos! Some of them were dreamers, Deluge Lindsey Buckingham and his wife Kristen, Saturday afternoon in our hotel lobby. I was waiting in my hotel lobby for my room to be prepared, and was surprised to see Lindsey and his wife walk by!  Lots of luggage. The Buckingham's luggage being brought in to the hotel. I thought it was cool that Lindsey brings a guitar to his hotel room.  They don't pack light. But I am sure this is less luggage than Stevie brings! Not entirely sure why, but both nights Lindsey favored the left and right side of the front row for playing his guitar during GYOW and for quick autographs at the end of the show.
Friday night I was front and center, and was shut out from guitar and autograph, similarly to those who were front and center Saturday night. FWIW, the autographs Saturday night seemed a little more rushed. Last edited by deluge; 10-09-2006 at 03:59 AM..

Nice job with the photos. I love the hotel and limo ones too. Lindsey doesn't look too happy in the limo shot.

Those are awesome pictures! What hotel were you staying at? I think I saw you in the front row with your camera. I took some...they told me to put it away, but I just got it out again. Haha.
I will put them up I guess....but they arent nearly as good as this!

She is very pretty...and very thin. Very.
She came down the steps ahead of Lindsey, and at first I thought it couldn't be her, because surely Linds would be by her side. But it was her. He came down the steps after her, made one wave to the fans, and got in the limo ahead of her. Then she had to walk around the back of the limo to the other side of the car and get in. I was surprised. I think he should let her get in ahead of him or at least crawl in the same door after him. There were two big security guys out there, and she was probably totally safe walking around the car, but I felt like she should have gotten a little more preferential treatment. But that might be my old-fashioned side .

Carolina girl, I totally thought the same thing! I couldn't believe he got in the limo first via the closest door and she had to walk all the way around to the other side! Surely, he should have allowed her to get in the limo first, and then worst case she could scoot over and he could get in from the same side. Or if he really wanted to be a gentleman, he could have walked around to the other side instead of her. Anyway, I will admit I am being picky, and I shouldn't judge him for something so small... I just thought it was very funny that she had to walk all the way around the car!
Re: all the fan comments about them looking thin, especially her: I didn't think either Lindsey or his wife look too thin. No offense intended to anyone here, but in most of the U.S., the norm is people being overweight!!! I think Lindsey and his wife both look FIT - neither looks like they are starving like some Hollywood stars... I think they look like they have relatively low body fat and keep in good shape. And from my perspective as a guy, Kristen looks GREAT - like the quintessential California girl (sort of like someone else we know, the way she used to look years ago?). Lindsey needs to whiten his teeth - they look dull and grey, they add years to his perceived age. Don't need anything ultra bright, but a basic whitening would work wonders! PS to Carolina girl: I am a Carolina guy. Or used to be before I moved. I suppose once you are, you always are! Nice to meet you.Last edited by deluge; 10-09-2006 at 10:39 AM..

Btw...my pictures are not NEAR this good because I was up in the balcony. LOVE the one with his tongue sticking out. hmmmm.... I also like the one of him down on the stage-I have one similar but again-not as up close very good pics!! Nice job
