He should definitely do an album with me because I play guitar just like him and my originals sound sort of like his. It would be perfect. Then again, that would never happen...

So I'll say Paul McCartney.

Lucinda Williams
Grandaddy
Gerald, my friend, it is as if you are stealing a page from my very thoughts...

I'd say work with the Eels definitely -- two studio geniuses with wildly creative approaches. Oh my. But as much as I'd love to see him work with Marah, the band has unfortunately taken a very commercial turn recently. Unless Lindsey could bring them back to the music that makes sense for them...

With Lucinda, I see a great duet.

Also, I'd love to see Lindsey work with David Lowery, of Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. After Camper's Tusk, I think it would be great to see these two men collaborate on a couple of songs. How about it, Lindsey? I'm pretty sure David would jump at the chance.

Lastly, how about a collaboration with The Strokes? I bet those guys have Rumours and Tusk in their record collections.

I think Lindsey would end up kicking Ryan Adams' ass. He's a brooding, nasty son of a gun who is very hard to get along with, from what I've read. I love his music, anyway.

Thumbs up I would say...

Australian country-rocker Keith Urban (Who we'll be seeing yet again in April) would be an obvious choice IMHO since he has mentioned Lindsey as one of his influences...

Another choice for working with Linds' would be Mark Knopfler (Btw, Who is another of K.U.'s influences)...Would be interesting to see Buckingham/Knopfler on one stage/recording.

Arrow Brian...

EXCELLENT choices!!

That Keith Urban...YUM! He's a great guitarist and singer too, I just saw one of his videos on CMT. I also heard that Australian accent on some show he was on...can't remember, perhaps the Top 40 Greatest Male Country Singers?

Mark Knopfler is another great choice! He did The Princess Bride soundtrack. I REALLY wish LB would do an entire soundtrack!

Thumbs up K.U. definitely...

has a real talent unlike some "musicians" currently on CMT.

He writes and produces his own music, Plays his instrument (Instead of just strumming along like most male country stars) and has the look...Plus he can put on one helluva live show! Matter-of-fact he was on "Austin City Limits" last night and he was rocking as usual.

Btw, I think K.U. could possibly play with Linds' since they both have working relationships with John Shanks...I know he would make an excellent opener for Fleetwood Mac this spring/summer.

I always thought Annie Lenox. She has an incredible voice and likes odd but thoughtful arrangements.

Sweetie. Did you just say ROCK MY SOCKS? Oh dear...you've gone round' the bend...heading towards the dark side

I second Carne's Camper Van Beethoven and third the Lucinda Williams.

I also think Poe, who has been known to experiment like Lindsey, would be a pretty stellar combination too as well as Terri Nunn of Berlin (i now have a Berlin obsession)

Oh! And how could I forget Beth Gibbons from Portishead....seriously, if you haven't checked out her new solo album Out of Season...definately do

You must've seen the "Band Reunited" episode on VH-1.

Yes sir, I did! Please, don't bring up that thread again....lol...but yea, she would make a good Stevie. She's very reminiscent of Debbie Harry though (I think it's the hair).

I think she and Lindsey would be a good collaberation...Terri? Can SING

Talking Lindsey should work out with...

Lins & Sheryl Crow! Her new video with the horses
in the mountains is great! She is in good shape and
could keep right up with Lindsey! I see them on that
beautiful brown and white horse of hers riding off in-
to the sunset...acoustic guitars slung over their backs!
He's hugging her real tight! She has a beautiful smile!
FMac needs to do a new Video! They could walk around
in the desert with a spotted horse...with many guitars...
singing a great tune! OH!THEY DID THAT!Luv,Sky

Don't mind me...we'er drinking IRISH Cream!!! Yumm!
