I like it a lot. I also love that it is clearly going to build from a slow rocker to an all-out head banger.
So far, my ranking of the snippets (not including the two full songs we have): 01. Belle Fleur 02. Mabel Normand 03. I Don't Care 04. If You Were My Love 05. All The Beautiful Worlds What I think is going to be so great about this album is that the songs sound so diverse that everybody's favorites are likely going to be dramatically different. I can see why people would dislike "I Don't Care" if they are fans of the 'airy-fairy' Stevie but I remember many comments from people wishing there was more rock on In Your Dreams and this is definitely ROCK. Luckily, I like both!

LOVE IT!! The sound caught me by surprise since everything we've heard so far has been somewhat sedate in terms of production. Her vocal on this sounds killer also. This is the first snippet that made me really want to hear the entire song.

I'm with the people who like the vocals and sound of the song but feel that the lyrics are a bit pedestrian .I noticed that this song is so far the longest on the album that has a time posted .So just hoping it isn't nearly 6 minutes of "I Don't Care" repeated interminably.

Tell me if anyone had the same experience upon listening to this clip for the first time...
She sings the first two lines... "I don't care where you go I don't care what you do..." (I start bobbing my head and groovin' out to the music and the rhythm) She sings the next line... "I don't care what you said..." (still bobbing the head and groovin' and waiting for a good line and word that rhymes with "do") and then she sings... "I just care that you love me!!!" HUH? (double take) Well...THAT was a bit unexpected. Anyone else put off by this, just a little bit? Like I said before, it's only 15 seconds of a sample, and I'm sure there is a hell of a lot more going on in this song (as evidenced by Dave Stewart's FIRST video snippit many months ago) but I just found it odd that they decided to post this portion of the song.

It's hard to tell what anything will sound like with only a 10 second snippet. However, I must say that I'm unimpressed by "I Don't Care" thus far. This is the first track what I'm not really excited about.

Dig the hard rockin' guitar sound..
feels like an interesting track - not a big fan of the lyrics. Hopefully, there is a "in the middle of my room, I did not hear from you" moment in the song somewhere.. One month today and my vinyl copy of 24 Karat Gold should be at my door.
