Why does Stevies appearance change so much between Wild Heart and Rock a Little?

Like her hair becomes massive.

Her face seems more pale.

Maybe I'm making this up.

Anyone else?

You know I was going to make this thread but I never got around to doing it. But I have the same questions. From 81-83' not a whole lot changed, but from 83-85' it was almost shocking. Even from 84-85' you had that early Rock a Little photoshoot, when she was very trim and Stevie-looking, and then 85' rolls around, and she seemed to change drastically. (and cocaine doesn't cause weight gain like that) so I'm not really sure what changed either. Even her voice seemed to change drastically.

Factors might include:

Adapting to the increasing garish styles of of eighties.

Her cocaine addiction had reached its pinnacle, hence the ragged, shrill vocals and weathered appearance.
