Default Favorite Stevie songs

If I could have Stevie make an album specifically for me, I would want it to sound like the following:

Battle Of The Dragon
Blue Lamp
Rhiannon
Gold Dust Woman
Sisters of the Moon
Planets Of The Universe
Moonlight (A Vampires Dream)
Have No Heart
Space Needle
Edge Of Seventeen
If You Ever Did Believe
How Still My Love

I don't know what it is about these specific songs that speak to me. I guess the darker vibes and Mystical feel of them is what I love the most. If she would release an album with each song possessing a darker mystical vibe I would say I had lived a full life and could die with no regrets lol

Am I the only one who feels like this?

No you're not. Although I enjoy ALL aspects of Stevie's music (the "petal rock" heartbreakers sound of "Bella Donna", the 80's synth of "Wild Heart" and "Rock A Little", and even her Country-tinged numbers) I would also say that I gravitate towards the "witchy, dark and mystical" side of her music, as I discussed in another thread.

The "Rhiannon", "Sorcerer", "Gold Dust", "Battle Of The Dragon", "Moonlight" "Dreams" type of stuff. Oh wait, can't forget "Sisters Of The Moon"!!!

This aspect of her music is what initially drew me to her in the first place back when I was a wee tyke.

For the past decade and a half, I always make a CD mix of these types of songs which I always title "Nicks Witch Mix" along with whatever year it is. I did it after "The Dance" was released, then again after "Enchanted"..."TISL", "SYW" and of course with "IYD". I'm betting we'll at least get two or three awesome "mystical" songs with this new album! At least I hope we do. I'd love to update my "Witch Mix" again next month.

But even if we don't get anything of that particular sound or atmosphere, I'm still going to be a happy camper. It is, after all, BRAND NEW Stevie music!

What about Doing the Best I Can? It has that same minor chord vibe to it. I'd add that one too.

Agreed! It's my absolute favorite off of "TOSOTM".

All of them. Most of you know I did beached about "You can't fix this" on here but she sounds great in the tune.

I know I will get my fat rear kick around about Jane.
