It's interesting that there aren't really any OSOTM demos on 24KtG. You'd think she'd at least have used one of them. That, and the vast amount of demos for RAL are part of what makes me think she might be planning on a "volume 2."

What Other Side of the Mirror demos are out there? Dial The Number comes to mind. I think that has a lot of potential.

Apparently, in Rolling Stone (not online, but the physical copy - Robin Williams on the cover) there are a couple of quotes from Stevie about the album in a very short article. Someone let me know about it via tumblr and wrote them out for me. There may be more that Stevie said but because of said theme of tumblr, these quotes are about a certain topic, lol...
Nobody from Fleetwood Mac has heard the album yet, but she’s confident her mates will like it. “Lindsey will love it,” she says. “Half the songs are about him!"
She also says that Lady “captures the mood of me and Lindsey being scared to death when we moved to LA in 1971.”

I really hope someone puts it online soon.

Ugh. I'm truly unimpressed with the fan memorabilia that has been posted so far. A simple search on ebay yields far more interesting offerings. On the upside, at least a watercolor of Stevie with a unicorn hasn't surfaced yet.

A quick check of Stevie's YouTube account reveals that "Lady" has just under 100,000 views while "The Dealer" has 374,000 views...

Taylor Swift joins "The Voice" as a "guest mentor"...Taylor Swift joins the voice While she (Taylor) being on "The Voice" will certainly expose Stevie and "24 Karat gold" to an even larger audience the Grammy debacle still haunts me...Whatever happens just don't let her sing with Stevie EVER AGAIN!!!

Okay, so is ANYONE ELSE getting excited about this new version of "Twisted"?

I have to admit, when I saw the track list for the first time, I was really bummed (and confused) that she decided to re-record this track. When that first press release came out that stated she was going to record a song she'd done live on stage but never had a "proper" release, this song was the furthest from my mind. I have a feeling that (regardless of how great this new version might be) that the reason it's been relegated to being a BONUS track is BECAUSE we've already been given two versions of it, previously.

My only guess is that she wasn't happy with the way the "Twister" soundtrack version came out, even though it was the catalyst for reuniting with Lindsey and making music again. The link posted below is the "live" version she did for a year before The Dance and a couple of years after. I LOVE IT! Very different from both the demo and the soundtrack version ~ more witchy, more atmospheric. I can only hope that THIS is the vibe she's going for (and reached) with this new record.

So yeah, I've done a flip flop! I went from being bummed about this track to now being intrigued and excited about it. Anyone else feel me on this one?

No. The version on the Twister soundtrack was perfection. I have to imagine this new version wouldn't be a duo with Lindsey, either. I don't want or need a third released version of this song, and it frustrates me Twisted is taking up real estate that other beloved demos could be occupying.
