Robin rocks around the clock

Singer-songwriter Janet Robin has never been one to sit still.

Since she last appeared at the Night Eagle Cafe in August, this killer guitarist and former backing musician for Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham has been busy with a number of projects.

Robin is working with Alfred Publishing and Daisy Rock Guitars on two instructional videos. One is the instructional companion DVD to Daisy Rock Guitar's Beginner Guitar book; the other will teach Robin's own performance method and will feature several songs from her latest material.

Speaking of Robin's latest material, she is in the studio with producers David Bianco (Tom Petty, Michelle Branch, Teenage Fan Club) and Steve Baughman (Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game) working on the new tracks for her fourth CD. A couple of the songs are collaborations between Robin and Marcy Levy (Eric Clapton, Shakespeare's Sister, Michelle Detroit). Learn more about Robin at www.janetrobin.com.
