Default Washed Out

Ahhh... one of my guilty pleasures - synthpop. From the 80s all the way up. And the IFC TV show Portlandia, for obvious reasons, I live in the rainforest. Washed Out does the theme song which has really grown on me over time. To the point of exploring more Washed Out music and the genre in general; triphop, low-fi, chillwave, on Pandora. Any fans here? I was mildly surprised to know he contributed on a Fleetwood Mac tribute album, but then again, not really. There always seems to be that thin thread tying many things together.

From the day I first watched Portlandia I loved that theme song. Haven't explored more of their tunes, but LOVE it. And I secretly wish to be on Portlandia. lol. Not to the extent of making a go for it, but since moving here, I feel so at home. It's like I've lived here forever. LOL show.

I've listened to them for almost 2 years! I don't typically like this type of music, but really like Washed Out. Saw them at Lollapalooza in Chicago this past summer as well..

Also, just started watching Portlandia last month and realized I knew the intro song! Bonus

Love Portlandia, love Washed Out.

Live a couple hours south - anyone going to the show at the end of the month?

Will have to look for the straight back cover.
