Christine's vocals on Lindsey's songs...
If there is anybody still out there that thinks Christine isn't on ALL Lindsey's songs put on some headphones and take a listen. I'm sure that's her voice singing with him on the versus of SATC, and of course in the mix of the chours. What I always loved about listening to their albums was to try to pick these two voices apart. This album is why I love the MAC so much. It's an amazing balance. I think this album is yet another masterpiece up their with all the others that Lindsey plays a part in.

Dam that spell check.😎 Your right about the "many voices" of Lindsey but he has always done the same with Christine's voice on the MAC albums and does his studio tricks to create that blended sound. I'm sure she is in the mix on all of the songs. The balance I was referring to is Chris lead vocals and his. |

In Lindsey's choruses, it is quite hard to distinguish Christine's voice, due to the fact he has multiple layers of his voice and they are mixed quite high, but I think I can definitely just make her out on all his songs apart from In My World, which she definitely isn't on.

It's ironic that Christine said in the CBS interview how she got goosebumps when she first heard Stevie and Lindsey's background vocals on Say You Love Me. Ironic because that pleasure she got from hearing them for the first time is the same way we fans feel when she provides background vocals, and sadly, that is missing from the new album. Yes, a few songs have the trademark harmonies, but how much better the songs would have been if they all had them.
Just odd and disappointing. It's like having Elton John play tambourine on a song instead of piano. Lindsey and Christine's voices are magic together and I just wish more of the album reflected that. |

I'm hoping this album was just something that allowed them to whet their appetites, kind of get the feel of each other again.....and that the next one will be much more collaborative, both musically and, especially, vocally.
Love the album, but that's what's missing for me....those layered, intertwining harmony and backing vocals! |

This album has as much if not more layered intertwining harmony and backing vocals(IMO) as any other Fleetwwod Mac album. It's just missing that third voice. |
