Default well....

I can't believe I don't even know how to post links in these posts (this is how little I post here) but this one

http://drum-tabs.hypermart.net/tab_archive.htm

is ok. It's got the basics, some Led Zeppelin (though that would probably be hard, considering Bonham is an awesome drummer), some John Lennon, the Beatles, etc - but really not that much.

http://www.tabmall.com/cgi-bin/dtabs.cgi

Still this one doesn't have any FM or Stevie, but you might find something else that you like...

http://www.mxtabs.net/drumtabs.php

finally, I think this is the best one out of them, but it still doesn't have any FM or Stevie. Maybe you'll just have to figure it out for yourself *lol* I hope this is something to go on anyway. At least all of them have Neil Young! man, I don't even know why I know where to find drum tabs. I've never played drums in my life...well a couple times but not seriously *lol* - So I'm assuming you got your drum set? That's very cool - got a band name yet? Tell me when you're going to be at open mike night at Borders *lol* peace

Greta...there is a music book you can get called Rumours Off The Record. It has the scores for every instrument and voice for every song on the Rumours album. If you can't get a hold of this PM me and I'll hook you up with some photocopies

"Rumours: Off the Record" is a pretty hot little (or not so little) folio. All the instrumentation & vocals are in staff notation (some of it modified so as to be able to accommodate a number of technical problems related to performance, such as guitar slides, natural harmonics, pinch harmonics, vibrator, artificial harmonics, pick scratch, repeated chords, glissando, tremolo & even mutes).

Female vocals are transcribed at pitch; male vocals at an octave above pitch.

The percussion notation, which is what you're looking for, seems very complex; it includes bass drum, snare drum, rim shot, electric snare, high tom, med tom, low tom, high timbale, low timbale, closed hi hat, open hi hat, crash cymbal, ride cymbal & cowbell.

As for general accuracy of the transcription, I can only really speak for the vocal transcriptions & keyboard transcriptions. They're about 90% accurate -- some songs more than others. For example, this is the only book that has ever published the fundamental shuffle pattern of "Don't Stop" that is even remotely close to what Christine McVie plays (a pattern that I believe she concocted in an attempt to emulate John's bass. Had she never lived with John, I think it's possible that her keyboard style would be noticeably different).

I think "Off the Record" is out of print now, but if Pip can set you up with some photocopies, take advantage of that!
