I'm so afraid. How is it in godsname possible to keep that one this intense after all these years of playing?

I don't know how he does it. It was so incredible and a moment we STILL talk about. My best friend and I were lucky enough to be right in front of his guitar work for THAT performance and it was just jawdropping...

Shut Us down is too slow, but more tender then ever because of it. It really builds up and the guitartones have so much more space to sound through: less pace, but way more feel! LOVEITLOVEITLOVEIT!

The performance.

I thought he did a lot better as he went along. This was one of the first performances of the song right?

I know! When I played it this afternoon I was so surprised how fresh and intense it sounded. He does it a little differently I think, or his guitar is tuned lower or something, I'm not an expert, but it sounded darker and intenser than usual.

Btw, your dvd is going out tomorrow morning, you should have it Saturday.

Default gyow

GYOW, he sings it too low. But the second solo? MY GOD! I was pulling my hair out on the screaming repetitive noisy crap. VERY cool.

btw. the first solo sounds very indie too.

Yeah, great version. SUD was one of the songs I was most looking forward to seeing on this DVD. I just adore it live.

His guitar is tuned lower, but I think that it's the new arrangement that makes it do much darker. I just love Neal's guitars during the verses and choruses, just so damn atmospheric! And of course Lindsey's solo ain't half bad either

Exclamation Rotflmao!!

That's my big mouth at the VERY beginning of ISA....going "YES!!"

Hee!

Sweet got dang...this solo KILLS!!! MURDERS!!!

Thank you sooooooo much, Peetsie for these mp3's!!!!! I cannot wait to relive that concert again and again and again.

I think someone mentioned not knowing what was said before Lindsey goes "I thought so too." after Trouble. They yelled out "Great new album, Lindsey!"

I keep adding to this friggin' post. LOL Anyway, remember SHN, Lindsey? Only a handful of us stood up during the song and clapped and danced along. I couldn't BELIEVE nobody told me to sit the frig down.

Oh! Thanks for filling in the blank. Then he proceeds to answer that he feels the same way. Very adorable. Michele
