"jeremy spencer" on footprint cd

jeremy's first solo album from 1970 has seen a "remastered" 2007 cd release on footprint records (fpr 29004). as we all know meanwhile, the term "remastered" doesn't necessarily mean what it's supposed to be. personally i would be more than surprised if this version turmed out to be anything but a vinyl copy. i don't know if this has been discussed here before - does anybody know more about the sources? maybe jeremy himself?

Footprint Records is a Swedish company, I think.

THIS release though is nothing but an unofficial rip of the vinyl album. It has nothing directly to do with Jeremy himself or the Swedish company. And it's certainly not remastered.

Agreed. I hate how some of these reissue companies can get away with calling their vinyl rips as "remastered".

thanxalot for the helpful info! so i had the right feeling about it. and i absolutely agree with john - it pisses me off that some bastards can put out vinyl rips and unscrupulously call them remasters.
