So "In My World" is reminding me a lot of "Did You Miss Me" I find myself humming both of these simultaneously.

How many times have people said this? It's like people are forcing themselves to like the song. The regular public won't be so kind. The production does not catch attention unless you want it to.

It's #1 on the UK iTunes Rock Songs chart! At the time of writing it's also at #113 on the main singles chart which is good. It's because of Christine's appearance on the Jools Holland Show and also BBC Radio 2 making the song Record of the Week.

On the contrary I think the regular public will be less critical.

I didn't like Mirage the first few listens. But music often does that. Now, I love Mirage. It's so weird and quirky. Agree the public are always less critical.

Simon Mayo just played In my World....adding the comment...

"If you think this sounds a bit Fleetwood Mackie, that because it's Lindsey Buckingham and Christine Mcvie"

No mention of why it's just the two of them.

It reminds me of the song, "You Are" a little bit. I can hear Christine in this, even though it's not specific.

I like the song. I was hoping for something more upbeat and Chris vocals but overall I like it. Not sure I would have picked it for a single. If it was another Think About Me I probably wouldn't be able to sleep. When FM added that song towards the end of their tour I just wanted to die cause they didn't play it in the US. In My World has a sadness that appeals to me. Now that I've been listening to it for almost a week I start doing the "oh, ah, oh" as soon as it starts. Lindsey hooked me again! I'll have to hear it with the rest of the album to see if I still like it or love it. Might like it less compared to their other songs, idk. Either way it's new and we get a tour.

The sadness I think comes from the lyrics and the minor key. But, I hear what you are saying. I like the sadness in a beautiful way. Lost love kind of feeling.
