Trouble Video - Spot The Players
This topic has been bouncing around for a long time and we never seem to get a definate answer, regarding the Trouble video, lets see if we can finally identify the 12 drum and guitar players that feature in the video.
A page has been created here - http://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/trouble.html where pictures of all the players are posted, now some have been identified already but most are still elusive. So get your Lindsey Buckingham thinking caps on and let's put this question to bed once and for all. All are welcome to help

Hey, great job, Neil.
The guy whose mug is on the far left in white shirt looks like the guy in the Tusk tourbook with the headsets on, running sound. It might be Trip Khalaf or Biff Dawes. Other possibilities for the other guys are Chris Nicks (remember this is 1981 so you'd expect these guys to look younger & different from their pictures nowadays), Ray Lindsey, Jeff Sova, Steve Ross (I don't know when he & Lindsey became friends), Pat Byrne & Tony Todaro. |

Bob Weston's in there somewhere, isn't he?

Ha! That's great Neil. I love it.
I think Bob Welch says he wasn't in this video, but the third guitar player you have pictured sure looks like him. I'm doubting Bob's memory. Like David said, I don't know if Lindsey knew Steve Ross at this point, but it seems like the second to last guitarist might be him. Isn't the last guitar player Ray Lindsey? I'm very curious about the older gent in the drummer line.

At first glance I thought that the guy third from the left is Ray Lindsey, not Bob Welch! But looking at it properly I see that it could also well be the guy first from the right.
No idea who the other unknowns are, but something about the drummer first from the right reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld! Last edited by seteca; 02-06-2003 at 10:12 PM.. |

I don't post very often but Lindsey is definitely my favorite topic!
I think one of the other drummers in the video is Dennis Dunstan who was Mick Fleetwood's manager at one time or another-he is the blonde guy directly behind Mick and I also thought one of the guitarists was Walter Egan. I did notice Steve Ross, Ray Lindsey, Bob Weston and yes, I am sure Bob Welch is in there, too. Take Care Everyone Happy Mac Greetings to all Christa
