Well, I've Gotten Sick For The First TIme Since College Started

So I'm just throwing this out there. I think I might have been exposed to Strep. If not, then I probably just have some sort of beastly cold. Throat is killing me (not exactly the best for a vocal music ed major), and I'm body achy. Don't know if I have a fever, but I wouldn't doubt it. I need some cheering up. I'm thinking about taking a personal day tomorrow. I also haven't really eaten very well today, which isn't helping, but up unill now I've eaten very well. Lots of vegetable wraps and such...... So anyway, I think I'm going for another nap. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow.

Eat clear broth-ed soups!!! (It'll help ease the pain in your throat)

Get some generic Zinc lozenges to suck on...and drink lots of any vitamin C pack juices (OJ, Grape, Cranberry, etc). Also, lots of water!!! And, hot tea with honey & lemon.

Gargle twice a day with warm-to-hot salt water, too...that'll also ease the sore throat pain.

A shot or two of NyQuil before bedtime will help you sleep.

If it continues more than four days...go see a Dr.

That's weird... I just got sick recently too, and it also looks like Strep. I haven't been sick in a while either. That's pretty strange.

I had a very serious case of Strep last year and if you have a fever and your glands under your jawline are swollen then please get to a doctor.

OMG Musicman, you may want to check for roseypalms...check if your dormmate has them too...this could be serious.
