I just saw this photo of this year's model of Epiphone SST Classic. Seems they've gone "the extra mile" to get it more like the old Gibson Chet Atkins models by changing the volume & tone bulky knobs to the more Gibson-like "thumb knobs"..which are flatter to the body instead of the normal knobs.

Very cool. Although I must say I like the "piss yellow" color of the previous model a little better than the more orange body.
