Even more facts are coming to light about this whackjob including her coast to coast shopping spree that far exceded the $150,ooo previously reported when all the McCain campaign had authorized was 3 dresses .That campaign also denied her the chance to give her own concession speech in Phoenix which she wanted to do.I had her number from the moment I laid eyes on her when she was ill advisedly picked as McCain's running mate.If she is the future of the Republican party then they have seal;ed their fate as a minority party which will retreat ever futher into the most redneck recesses of the south and lower midwest.

He isn't quite elected yet..he is only a few hundred votes ahead with 55,000 absentee and early ballots yet to be counted.Even if he does win it is highly doubtful that the Democratically controlled congress will allow him to continue in his post.

Someone, I think Mitch Mconell in the senate said there is NO WAY Stevens would get seated. It makes sense to me, not that I agree, why Stevens chose to still run. If he had resigned immideately before the election, someone would have had to come in at the last minute and take his place on the ballot. Perhaps they wouldnt have even been able to get whoever it was name on it so there would have had to be a bunch of write-ins. this way, Stevens can now resign and Palin can appoint someone, obviously a Republican, to serve his term. I could be wrong, but thats the way I think it would work.
