Blue Lamp is highly overrated, IMO.

One of my least favourite songs by Stevie or anyone else. A prime example of her sliding far off the rails artistically.

I like the song but LOVE it live. Wow, its so rocking and almost sounds like Bruce's E Street Band with Roy just adding so much to the song live. I wish I had this on CD and I wish she would do it live again. Her live bands were never the same without Roy.

I don't like this song. There is a reason it never made the album. It sucks.

I was afraid to look it up myself, for fear that I might come across something dumb, and I right to be afraid.... I wish I had never asked now. I wonder when the nightmares that I'll most likely have, will begin.

Hardly! I'd save that statement for "Tango", half of "TOSOTM" and "Street Angel".

Agreed! I miss Roy! The live "Blue Lamp" is most definitely the best version and I wish, hope and pray someday that we will get a nice pristine version from that tour!

This song is one of my all time favourites.

Ivory Keys has already posted all the available shows of the Bella Donna Tour, you can find all the Blue Lamp performances we have:
Houston 11/28/1981
Oakland 12/03/1981
Tempe 12/05/1981
Los Angeles 12/12/1981
Los Angeles 12/13/1981 (audience recording of the HBO show)

http://stevienicksivorykeys.blogspot...tour-1981.html

Personally I find the audio of Houston and the two LA show are better.
