Yeah, they were talking about this on a Van Halen message board that I'm a member of. Apparently someone saw Eddie up close at a concert a few years ago, & some of his teeth are missing & just look awful. You know, I'm sure he has the money to get his teeth fixed, but I just don't think he cares anymore. He's back to drinking & smoking; some people just never learn, but he is an excellent guitar player.

He doesn't need to care anymore. Plenty of money for him till he leaves his Earth bound body.

I think Valerie was the reason for his recent binges again. But again, he's living the good/high life...not a care in the world.

Because of her leaving him? What do you mean by this? Because I heard that that's why she left him in the first place, because he started smoking again and wouldn't stop his binge drinking .

EVH...He has become a sad lonely little man, He was destroying himself so much that his wife Valerie finally had enough and their marriage has finally ended. How can someone survive (oral) cancer and return to the exact behavior (smoking) that caused the cancer in the first place is really pathetic to me.

Really sad that Van Halen is basically a disolved band with no real record contract, who even if the rumors are true about the CBS "Rock Star" series appearance, will be a band consisting of only the Van Halen brothers since Michael Anthony is no longer a member ("Mad Anthony", in an interview this week, stated he did not play on the 3 new tracks on the recent Van Halen greatest hits 2 disc compilation) and any chance of another reunion of the Hagar era will now never occur (A Roth era reunion also will never occur, so dont hold your breaths on it.)

The bets are still on for which of the following 3 rock artists will be the first to the grave:

Edward Van Halen
Scott Weiland
Steven Adler

As of now it is neck-and-neck between EVH & Adler
