I just checked The Pretenders website, and they’re opening for most of the European dates. It

Wembley holds 90,000 people.
Will they be able to fill the stadium for 2 shows?

Well, for the On With The Show tour they played 6 sold out O2 arena shows alone. I think the O2 arena holds 20,000, so that's 120,000 straight off. In addition they played 9 other UK shows (Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds) at around 15,000 each (though I think at least one was cancelled in the end due to illness). So that's potentially in the region of 255,000 British people. Of course, it'll be more difficult to shift tickets for people in the north of England and Scotland, but they should sell out okay, especially as they have the Pretenders too.

makes sense.

Although it's hard to imagine them selling out a US stadium these days. Even with the Pretenders.

I think there's more of a hunger to see them in the UK.

They play the Pinkpop-festival in Landgraaf on Monday 10th of June. Just 90 kilometres from Cologne I guess :-)

There's an equal amount of hunger for Lindsey in the UK....

After not touring there for BuckVie and after cancelling his first 2012 UK tour, he should get motivated .... he needs to be smart and capitalise on this.

And, even if Lindsey was still in the band.

…..my concern would be that this might mean a somewhat shorter set from Fleetwood Mac. They haven't had -or didn't need - a support in Europe/UK for many years.

The set is only about two hours, so it should be okay.

what is "most" when they have just like 4 dates? 3 outta 4?

interesting that Nicks & co have to enlist the Pretenders to help her out, again.

More like Stevie helping the Pretenders again. The 24KG Gold show I went to was close to half empty for Chrissie and tons of people arrived to fill the site toward the end of her set and before the start of Stevie's. Elle, was it different at the show(s) you attended?

No, i do not think so. It'll take more time to fill u a stadium and the crowd have to be entertained. They probably start a bit earlier with the opening act 19:30 or something with FM hitting the stage at 20:45.
