Thanks for posting that pic, gldstwmn- I don't know why, I mean I'm only going by pictures and tweets and such, but for some reason Neil just comes across to me like such a nice guy. John is looking his age but when I saw FM a few weeks back, he did a great job of playing.

You're welcome. I hope people take a good long look at that photo and realize that the time to do things (like see your favorite band) is now. Forget about the whole Chris is struggling or who did what to whom. The time to do that thing you've been putting off? It's NOW.

I am so glad I went to the show in 2014 when I finally did get to see my favorite band, with the incarnation that I grew up with and love, intact once more. It was only about 18 months since the 2013 show and I questioned going at all. I am happy that I did, for obvious reasons now.

except it wouldn't be like seeing the same band anymore, to me anyway. I'm glad I saw them all the times I did.

Well Christine is standing at a mic quite close to Stevie and they are both singing with Neil. Is that just as lame for both of you or does it only qualify for Stevie?

Oh, for me it's definitely only Stevie because of the meaning of that song and its history.

I didn’t see Christine, but ok I will add her.

I don’t necessarily see it as lame. More disappointing, disgraceful. They could’ve created a setlist without Lindsey songs. And while I’m at it, Finn doesn’t sing these songs that well. His voice is nice enough, but kind of flat. If he had reinvented the songs, it would be less awful.

They very easily could have, but then people would be angry that they completely wrote him out of their history. My preference would have been for MM and SHN to get dropped before I Got You and Hypnotized.

He sounded fine to me.
