Smile Rick Vito on tour in Germany

Just found this out on a general "Rick Vito" search of the internet. Rick's been on a solo tour in Germany.

Great to see him out on tour again. Hopefully he'll do some US dates including the SF Bay Area.

Here's the link through Hypertension Music.

I intented to post about this - Rick also played right in my hometown last week and I went to see him! They were full of energy, the show was great and in the break I got to hug Rick and hang out with his band (Lenny Castellanos & Kyle Jones). They loved me, I guess 17-year-olds are rather not their usual audience and Rick dedicated a song to me . It was good to hear the old blues songs again. I remember great versions of 'I've Loved Another Woman' which Rick played by special request, 'Looking for Somebody', 'Rattlesnake Shake', 'Shake Your Moneymaker' , 'Albatross' which was the final encore and also lots of Rick's songs .

I've got some pics, the first one I took during a wonderful acoustic performance of 'Carry it on Home to Rosy'

That's Lenny Castellanos on bass (wearing the hat). He and Rick played together in the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band.

Hopefully, they, as well as Mick and Mark Johnstone, will reunite for more revisting of classic, original blues Mac (and other blues classics) and killer original material by Rick and Mark.
