I don't care how "rare" it is.

Bad enough that my usual site is selling the Penguin album for the very affordable price of $50.
No import just the album itself.

I recently came into some extra money and I want to expand my cassette and cd collection.
I found a cassette copy on Amazon listed as Used- Very Good. It's priced at $34.50 plus $3.99 shipping. Hope this helps!

It's sound stunning!
How did you aquire that? I would love to hear the master tape. I have several albums, all pressed in different places and I swear there is something the matter with a couple of them. They seem to go in and out of tune, like a warble, towards the label. All the vinyl is flat and clean. I have a cassette, but the quality isn't good anymore. Anyway, do you share?

The photos people have posted are great!

I just want to say that if you haven't seen Dave Grohl's Sound City yet, DO IT. DO IT NOW.

A very cool docu indeed...

On topic: the Buckingham Nicks album cover was featured today on the website of Dutch newspaper: Algemeen Dagblad www.ad.nl as part of a series of most sexy album-covers....I thought it was cool and was surprised the editors of the paper knew about it ...

Why don't you or anybody else make me an offer I can't refuse on my perfect condition gatefold B/N album that I bought in 1978.

I obtained a downloaded copy of this album several months ago. Couldn't get into it. I liked maybe 2/3 tracks (Long Distance Winner, Frozen Love and Crystal) and then didn't listen to it again for several weeks.

Being a fan of Fleetwood Mac's, and especially Stevie Nicks' music I figured I should give this album another shot so a fair while after the first listen I played the album again and I am so glad I did because I love it! I've been playing it a lot ever since. Favourite tracks are the ones mentioned above plus Without A Leg To Stand On, Don't Let Me Down Again, Races Are Run and Lola (My Love).
All of the songs are really good, but those are the ones I often replay.

I recently bought this on vinyl and just love that it's part of my collection.
I agree with those who want this released onto CD. I probably wouldn't buy it since I already own 2 versions, but I think it would bring the album to a lot of people's attention and fans of SN and LB would appreciate it, plus it could bring them many new fans too.

The first time I heard Crystal was actually in the film Practical Magic and I think I prefer that version, but the original BN version is an extremely close second.

Do you guys realise that there is a copy of this album out there that has come straight from the master tapes (not a vinyl transfer)? Do a bit of research on the net and you'll probably come across it as a download in the FLAC format.

I think that's as close as you're going to get to an official release CD and/or an official download release (iTunes etc) at the moment.

I would suggest that you find the Album online, or if you know of a vintage record store( if there are any of them left) and buy it..... if you don't have a record player find one of those too..
The Album is so much better than my copy tape/Cd does. It sounds unbelievable, even the crackle and pops of the vinyl.
...but I'd still buy a remasted /relaunch/expanded CD of the record in less than a beat of my tale, tale, heart......
