I'll only buy one if I get that lap dance.

I would love to meet Mick, but jeez - that's a lot of $.

Default what the . . . .????

Now this has to be the most over-the-top price I have EVER seen:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Fleetwood-Mac-Ti...3A1%7C294%3A50

This isn't even front row!

I'm going to assume that an extra zero was mistakenly added to the minimum bid price, because Fleetwood Mac ain't Hannah Montana.

You've heard "Rumours". Now it's confirmed that '70s superband Fleetwood Mac is touring for the first time in five years and is coming to Scotiabank Place on March 23, 2009.

And rumoured to joining Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Lindsey Buckingham on their 16-date North American tour will be Grammy-Award-winning rocker Sheryl Crow.

Fleetwood Mac first hit the charts in 1969 as a British blues band with Bob Welsh but it wasn't until they recorded "Rumours" in 1977 that they became one of the top-selling bands of all time, selling more than 30 million units of "Rumours" alone.

The concert begins at 8 p.m. with doors at 7 p.m.

Fleetwood Mac tickets are $49.50-$149.50 plus service charges, on sale Monday, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. at the Scotiabank Place box-office, The Sens Store, Sports Experts, charge by phone at 613-599-FANS (3267) or online at www.capitaltickets.ca

I think somebody goofed

I guess they're going off that old rumour about Sheryl that's since been ruled out.

i hear ya on that and I think pretty much everyone else that is a die hard fan is feeling this way i would be surprised to see sell out shows at these prices at the mohegan sun show that package is $995 with out mick fleetwood meet and greet and a whopping $1120 with a meet and greet with mick fleetwood i guess they haven't watched the news about that we are going into a depression not a recession.and its 4 star package is $395 people that get that package will feel ripped off i will tell ya at those prices they will not be happy if they get that package at that price and not get front row seats if i got 5th row at those prices i would be pissed. I do want to go to this show but its just fleetwood mac on auto pilot for another tour to cash in i do think they will surprised on this tour about the low sales the casual fan will not drop that money if they die hard fans are not willing to do so. Stevie Nicks has been on auto solo pilot since 2005 just singing the hits and her shows were worth it not too expensive and I did enjoy the shows as i always do but they do need to do new material we know stevie is afraid of doing new material especially in concert. if its the hits she needs to bring out sisters of the moon, fireflys, and farmers daughter to name a few.

I for one am stoked for the tour... but only beacuse they are finally playing the Capital of Canada Ottawa. Hopefully Sevenwonders and Sara will make the cut as I have not heard them live before.

In terms of whether or not they will sell out. I think the shows in Canada are safe because they have never played Ottawa before and they last played MTL in 87. The US shows will be tougher to sell beacuse of the prices and the economy. One thing that has me curious is what happens if the I Love All Access tickets don't sell out or sell at all for a specific show? Will the tickets revert back to general sale at TM. Also does I Love All Access have holds on all the best seats in the house?

Reading the posts about Europe made me think of other destinations.

I don't know the cost of touring and the various transactions and contracts involved for overseas tours, but I have always wondered why they don't go back to Japan, since they did it in their hey day. I think that they have fans there, regardless of the language barrier. Plus, in Japan they aren't facing the economic problems that are crippling the US and the UK.

I always hear about American stars who go to Japan and make millions doing commercials there (that they would never make here, for fear of hurting their star credibility), so it seems that there's a demand for Western entertainment. If it's money they want, it doesn't seem to me they are doing everything necessary to sop up all the available dollars -- or yen. At least I don't think they did for the SYW tour. This one might be different.

I think a better name for the tour should be "Rehashed 2009' or how about "Rumours: The Return"... Back for a bigger slice of the pie or even "Rumours The Revenge"... Just when you thought it was over

That'd be a good one, but Rumours never left.

Hasn't Ottawa been announced in March? Or is there another Ottawa?
