I am having trouble figuring out whether I think Kiln House should go in the Peter Green Fleetwood Mac section or whether it should go in the Middle-Mac (I like that expression). On the one hand, it belongs in with the rest of Jeremy's work; but stylistically it is not much like the earlier albums of the PG era. Then again, stylistically it's not much like the Mid-Mac either. I think I'd vote to put it in the Mid-Mac just because it was released in 1970.

But I think I'd let Jeremy decide.
I would put Kiln House in the "Middle Mac" category, simply based on the fact that Peter Green was not on the album.

Hence the "etc".

You're overlooking the "featuring Jeremy Spencer" aspect of that first category. THAT's why I included Kiln House in that category.

Loved it! It is my favorite album of the Pre-Rumours lineups. Hypnotized is such a great song. It should have been a hit IMO. That lineup did not get the credit they deserved.

Awww you gotta at least love "Hypotized," which is one of the best tracks on the album. I think "Hypotized and "Keep Going On" are my favorite if I had to choose.

I have to agree that "Hypnotized" and "Keep on Going" are the best on this album, but not lets forget about the masterpiece known as "Why"....

For some reason, this album reminds me of a sunny day. And "Bare Trees" reminds me of winter morning

I can deal with that one. Forever is my least favorite.

How about Alt-Mac - Todd Sharp, George Hawkins, anyone else who has appeared on more than one solo project or in place of a regular Macster?

No one has mentioned the lost track from Mystry To Me -- the Bob Welch song "Good Things Come to Those Who Wait." Many early issues list this song and also include the lyrics. It was, however, replaced, seemingly at the last minute with the cover song "For Your Love."

Has this song ever surfaced anywhere?

Also, is there any info on the set list for their aborted tour? Regarding live performances from that album, I'm only aware of:

Hypnotized
Why
Miles Away
Believe Me

Yes, Bob recorded it. It's on his solo album, Three Hearts. Christine sang backing vocals on the track.

Yes...Bob Welch re-recorded (and retitled) it for his Three Hearts album. It's called "Don't Wait Too Long".

I think adding "For Your Love" was a good idea. It's a great version. Bob said in his first Q&A, that his own version of "Good Things..." wasn't much different than the MTM version. With that being the case, to me, FYL fits the whole MTM vibe a bit better.

My LP copy of Mystery To Me has "Good Things..." listed on both the cover & lyric sheet; since I bought the album within a week of its release.

Maybe if Rhino/WB Special Products gets off their collective asses and finish the rest of the catalogue remasters, we might get to hear the original "Good Things..." as a bonus track. (one of the songs that SHOULD've been included on The Chain box)
