Christine solo album??
Hi, I've been lurking around for awhile, but just registered today.
I seem to remember hearing a rumor some time ago about Christine McVie working on a solo album. I haven't heard anything more about it for a few months now and was wondering if anyone knew whether it was true that she was doing an album, or if it was just a rumor. --Mark |

It was said that she was working with Ken Calliat (sp?) and that the releasing date would be similar to Say You Will, but at the moment I'm afraid I don't have more news in that respect. What I can say, though, is that I'm really expecting that.

the first time we heard of Say You Will's April release date, we also heard that Chris's solo album was due out in October as of now.

The last I heard was that they were finishing the guitars and shopping around for a record label. I am hoping it will be released maybe late this year.

From Neil's (Nodmods) board:
The new Mix Magazine (march 2003) has a story about Surround Mixing----one of the people they interviewed was Ken Caillat and Claud Trelby, both of these guys produced the new Christine McVie Solo album, and they mentioned that it was mixed in both Stereo and 5.1 for Warner Bros. This is a trade mag only and cannot be brought by the public. Neil from Ken............... I'm sorry but I have no news on Chris's album, I'm told she's finishing guitars at her home in Canterbuy with her Nephew. They are still shopping a record deal. I have started mixing Tusk in 5.1 at my home studio in Thousand Oaks and Fleetwood Mac is rehearsing in Los Angeles for a new tour to support the new album coming out in May which Christine in not on and she's not touring with them either. I hope to get back to London soon. I just need someone to hire me to do a record for them there! Sincerely, Ken Caillat |
