Question Possible Ticket Prices...

these could be "tentative" prices for the FM concerts at venues through tickets.com

$125.00
$75.00
$49.50

The "Handling/Convenience" charge for the is $12.75 per ticket (This "Handling/Convenience" price is cheaper for the cheaper valued tickets). This was a ticket per customer service charge with purchases through tickets.com

And I hope this is accurate because I heard they were going to be $200-$300...Brian J.

ps-I'll let ya know if these prices are accurate (Which I heard they more-than-likely are...) when I purchase my tickets this Wednesday morning at 9AM (That's if the pre-sale is still a go...Some say it is while others say it isnt, Confusing IMO!!!)

125 Dollars? For this amount the group is obliged to move into your house and bring breakfast to your bed with a surprise song every day for a month?

Back in 88 it was 20 Dollars for me in Dortmund. But therefore it just was the show without the breakfast- stuff...

Yeah, as bad as that is - $125 is ridiculous for anybody, anywhere - it's not as bad as I had feared. So I feel a little bit better, considering I'm planning on going to multiple shows. I hope this (or less, ha!) is typical of all venues. (Although I've heard that some places, like Las Vegas, are always going to be higher...)

I want my breakfast from the "lil' blonde witch"

"Back in the old days" I used to see plenty of concerts for under $20...And that was only 13 years ago...lol...Brian J.

That is freakin' ridiculous!!! So if I want a seat that is even half-way decent I have to pay a crap load of money....it is clear to me that fans no longer mean anything...it's all about money...and screw the real fans...if ya don't have money you can't see these people....

Must be why I've been getting so into independent and not famous music acts...

I'll step off my soap box now...I just get so mad!!!

just buy the cheapest ticket and then sneak down front... there are always enough rich people who aren't fans and just go to these things for the heck of it who don't stay past the first 3rd of the concert... so there are always empty seats down there. if security ask to check your tickets on your way down just say "no thanks i know where i'm going" very nicely and with a sincere smile on your face. i swear to god it works.

Jessica, that's a good idea.

Sigh . . . I first saw FM at the Medford, Oregon National Guard Armory in the fall of 1974. It was the Bob Welch lineup. I think I paid six bucks.

Of course, it's different now. But I tell you, the whole band gave it blood, sweat and tears. It was a marvelous concert. Even though I was out of my mind on all sorts of chemicals, I still remember it very well.

Anyway, I'll probably pay through the nose for good seats and grit my teeth and have a good time.

The last time I saw FM was late 75 in Rochester NY. I guess this was the first tour with the Lindsey/Stevie lineup. They were opening for Loggins and Messina. We made our way to the stage, I could have reached out and grabbed Stevie's ankles.

Wish I could remember more about it.

If the best tickets are really $125, then I will be surprised, in a good way! It's still a lot of money but I was expecting the best ones to be $200+....Obviously if they are not bought via the official ways they're gonna cost a lot more. I know it's looking a long way down the road, but I'm beginning to wonder how much the UK tickets will cost....my guess is between £75 to £100 for the best ones...three times that via scalpers.

Hmmm.... The Eagles was just under £50 in 2001... well worth the money imo for 3 hours of the band and now support. How many gigs I get to see (IF they come here) will depend on the cost. Having been spoilt for TISL I want to be down the front!
