"Say You Will" BONUS track!!!

I just learned that the Japanese edition of "Say You Will" will indeed include a bonus track when it is released there in May.

The following is from a new release catalogue:

"FLEETWOOD MAC Say You Will (2003 Japanese CD album scheduled to include exclusive bonus track, picture sleeve + obi-strip, more details to follow...) ** due May 2003 **"

I realise this is par for the course with most Japanese editions but considering that the album will already include 18 tracks with a close to capacity running time, I wasn't sure we'd be afforded the luxury this time around. My hope is that the extra track will be the sought after "Down On Rodeo" but considering that Lindsey already has 10 tracks to Stevie's 8, I imagine it will be a Stevie song. If so, my money's on "Mistaken Love" - fingers crossed.

Guess I'll be hunting on eBay and Amazon...

exactly what i was thinking too, it's a shining example for the music conglomerates' brainless behavior.
let's imagine i'm a fanatic stevie fan, i know there is a new completed song i don't have (even after shelling 19$) and cannot live another day without owning (an imaginable but yet a possible scenario!!!).
what should i do then;
a. buy it from (written japanese only) amazon.co.jp ?
b. ask from one of my various japanese friends to buy me a copy and send it over?
c. buy it from wynnco for 50$ ?
d. wait a few years in hoping it'll be released in some compilation album?
e. just accept the fact that i'll never know this song?
or
f. spend 5 minutes of my precious life finding and downloading it.

these ridiculous dumbasses are just begging for it!!!

CD prices are higher in Japan, so Japanese CDs often include bonus tracks not available in other countries, in hopes that this will encourge the Japanese consumers to buy the Japanese CD rather than importing from elsewhere.

gotta love those Bonus tracks...esp since we probably will not see a single released, unless they submit a remix to the dance clubs......remember they did do this for several songs off TITN...and Stevie did this successfully w/ "Planets" so heres still hoping we get those coveted B-Sides...

"Mistaken Love" would be cool...I could live w/ that...
But what I'd really freak over is to see if they really did "All the Beautiful Worlds" ...and see that released! as the bonus....

but then again....I still love "Not make Believe"...I think this would be awesome as well....heck just release them all...This is too much torture to imagine what was left on the cutting room floor.....

I'll gladly pay whatever it takes and be immensely grateful for the opportunity to score another song from the "Say You Will" sessions.

I know - why not just put it on the American record. But, they made double if not truple sales by omitting certain hit songs from The Dance CD, DVD, MTV special, etc. I know because I took it hook line and sinker and own all of it
