Question *favorite & least favorite track*

now that SYW has officially been released, does anybody care to share his or her one favorite and least favorite track (excluding bonus tracks)?

i don't dislike ANY, but i guess my 18th favorite track is smile at you.

favorite? at the moment it has to be miranda...unbelievably catchy chorus! i'm in the middle of my fifteenth time in a row playing that song

the album has really exceeded my (high) expectations, and i can see at least a half dozen songs having the potential to be hit singles.

Heart

My favorite Stevie tracks are Illume and Silver Girl. Illume is so funky and I love the passion in her voice towards the end. Not a bad Stevie track on the CD as far as I am concerned.

Lindsay is the man ~ that's all I have to say. His guitar work is unmatched. He is a genius. I love Murrow Turning Over in His Grave and Miranda again not a bad track from Lindsay. My only grip is that I wish he would use his entire voice on Goodbye Baby. Does that make sense? He seems to almost be whispering. I just want him to sing his heart out.

I can't quite put my finger on the pulse of this cd. It seems kinda dark or something. I don't know, but I do love it. I'm very pleased.

lol, My favorites have already changed. At first, I didn't care for Red Rover (at least not as much as the rest of them)....but I've listened to it a few times now and it's really starting to grow on me. I think it's a tie for my least favorites now....between Silver Girl and Miranda.

My favorite (of the moment, lol) is Running Through The Garden. Well, after Goodbye Baby, that is. (That one can't be topped, IMO). I love it....the guitar, Stevie's vocals...everything. I hope they do it in concert.

Talking Well, Well, Well...

My fave is a 3-way tie between "Illume", "Destiny Rules" & "Say You Will"...

My least favorite is "Red Rover"...Brian J.

Arrow Well..

I love this album so much, I really can't pick a favorite! But - I can say that Miranda and Red Rover are my least favorites of all of them (sorry Lindsey fans). I just cannot get into these two songs. Other than that, I love this album!

Im still forming my opinions, but I love the indianesque sound of Illume and I love Thrown Down. But then again Ive had a demo of Thrown Down for a few years but in a slower tempo... so Ive already loved that song, along with Bleed to Love Her.

Default hmmm...

I've been enjoying the audio-dvd version.. which, if you really like the album, is worth the extra $$.. you hear things you don't on the regular cd.

my favorite for now - Illume.

my least favorite - Say Goodbye.

Very initial reactions:

Most favorites:

Red Rover
Illume
Say Goodbye
Goodbye Baby
others too...

Least:

Silver Girl (towards the end I like it better - it picks up a little bit more of a groove & rhythm, but it's just a litle dull at the start)

My least favorite of all of them is Silver Girl. Now that I have the bonus disc from my extra special limited 2 CD set, I cannot understand how they chose that over Not Make Believe.

The rest I love. I really do. Right now the ones I keep wanting to replay are Everybody Finds Out, Illume, both Goodbye songs and Murrow.

This really is an excellent album... very strong in every aspect. Which makes it extremely hard to pick a clear favorite or a clear least favorite.
At least for me.

But the songs that I'm most into at the moment are "Murrow," "Illume," "Destiny Rules," "Bleed To Love Her" (I know it's "old," but I'm a sucker for that song), "Say You Will," and "Everybody Finds Out."

As for least favorites.... for some reason I've always run hot & cold where "Red Rover" is concerned.
If i'm in the mood to listen to it, then it's cool and I can really get into it... but it seems that when it's alongside other tracks, I tend to skip it.
I discovered that tendency quite a while back, when listening to the disc I burned of LB's 'GoS' tracks... no matter what, I almost always skipped "Red Rover."

The other one I'm going to have to warm up to, is "Silver Girl."
I dig the lyrics, but I really wish they would have done something a little more upbeat and quirky with the arrangement. I don't care for the lyrics in the context of what's basically a ballad.
But I'm sure it'll be another one, like "Red Rover," that I'll really enjoy as an entity unto itself, just not within the context of the album.

I love this album.
