The Real Story of Danny Kirwan

I don't really want to publicize this interview as its obviously a load of sh!t. That said the chap whose coming up with this story seems so genuine in his stories I have to assume somebody was stringing him along for some reason rather than him blatantly lying.
The bloke in the Spice Girls video is clearly not Danny though. The guy who was in the 'Rock star drinking club' clip (can't seem to find that now) was clearly him. That must have been early 1990's I think. The Spice Girls' Wannabee video would have only been a few years later. That's 100% definitely not the same person.

I can't see Danny Kirwan being an actor. He was way too shy.
This is a very bizarre story and very frustrating somebody is leading people on.

If you search “afterburner guitarock” on Twitter, the person there got a message back from Snowy White’s fan club where it turns out it was actually some actor named Danny da Costa. So the guy being interviewed is mixing up his Dannys.

It appears that this Danny de Costa has convinced Leon Donnelly that he was Danny Kirwan.
