R. STEWART & STEAMPACKET (with P. Green) ???
I've found a description on eBay auction ROD STEWART & The Steampacket
This may be some of Rod Stewart’s earliest recorded material but even then he was keeping good company. Members of the group included Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll, Long John Baldry, Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood. Reported to have been recorded at the legendary Marquee Club this is a true piece of history. The tracks are: 1 Bright Lights Big City 2 Ain't That Lovin' You Baby 3 Don't You Tell Nobody 4 Just Like I Treat You 5 Moppers Blues 6 Keep Your Hands Off Her 7 Can I Get A Witness 8 Baby Take Me 9 Oh Baby Don't You Do It 10 Bright Lights Big City (Alter 11 Lord Remember Me |

Thanks for posting!
Interesting! But I doubt Peter played... I've seen him listed several times as a member of Steampacket (I think even the "Tapestry of Delights" book says it too), but I think it's just due to the confusion with Shotgun Express. Anybody else? |

Yep, I think you're right, Daniel.
In fact, that Rod Stewart material has been re-issued for years, after he became a "star". So we'll have to stick with "Stone Crazy"... |
