If I remember rightly there was a woman too who was a bit weird on the newsgroup. Used to post ramblings. Can't remember her name. So long ago...

There were lots of women who were a bit weird. More than a bit weird, actually.

Remember Esther & Moosh/Marsha & Rox (who formed the MP3 list) & Mo (who fell in love with Erick) & Nia & Sara M. (of course) & Tammy & Joanne & Chris Small & that annoying twerp Kyle & the great Brian P.?

Rox just disappeared ... I hope it wasn't those horrific kidnappers in Mexico.

May I just say, Al, how great it is to have you around again? Remember those wonderful, amusing photos you took of all the elephants when your family took you to the circus? I'll always remember those elephants.

heres a reference from the past

The Stevie Nicks Live Tapes Homepage

I got so many enchanted tour tapes from them because they were some of the first to have almost all of them on tape. Plus you could just send them cassettes and dub them for you....they were kind of like a factory!

Hi Luke and everyone,

I'm the barbara from Boston you're thinking of and, happy to say, I'm very much alive. Barbara H, I think, was from Texas. So sad to hear about her...Vianna, too.

I still lurk a bit, but posting has dwindled to almost never. It's been loads of fun reading about all the old Ledgies!

Hey David
I was thinking....I remembered his name last night but now I cannot remember but what happened to the longtime fan who posted on the usernet newsgroups who collected opera gloves? Remember him? I know he was around for a very very long time, even before my heyday on the newsgroups which really wasn't all that long. I know you knew him pretty well too!

That was Joe Admire. He formed the a.m.f-m newsgroup in 1994. He lived at the time in Manassas VA.

He met Marty & Lisa A. in 1996 or so at Mick Fleetwood's blues bar in Virginia.

I think she became a mom. We e-mail her all the time. She never answers, but at least the e-mail doesn't bounce back!

Oh, good Lord.

I've only been here since 2003 (god, I wasn't even online until 2000), but I remember Vianna and was sad to hear she passed - she was a mod here until 2004-ish, I think - she had a stroke around that time, iirc - I never heard anymore about her after that.
