I'm extremely surprised to hear that they performed the song "It Ain't Over," if only just once...until it was over! How could this not be common knowledge? I hope there is a bootleg of it. Too bad it didn't become a regular part of the set list.

They never did that one.

This tour was pretty good, but I was already starting to really get sick of rock music, and Stevie Nicks was starting to lumber along like a sod-packed wheelbarrow. Still, several musical highlights on this tour:
  • Don't Let Me Down Again with a rejuvenated rhythm section packing a powerful wallop
  • A haunting & mournful I Loved Another Woman
  • Go Your Own Way with a full-bodied chorus (usually missing on earlier tours)
  • The return of Gold Dust Woman to the Mac set
  • Christine McVie
I was less crazy about the musical aspects of
  • The Chain
  • Don't Stop
  • World Turning

There was a HUGE keyboard rig, off stage right. Pre-show, I was stretching to look above - what apparently wasn't supposed to seen- and security yelled at me. "WTF dude, I'm just using my eyes!" But he wasn't having any part of me looking at the rig. If memory serves, it was at least nine keyboards(yes, that's been a long time ago - and I was only 3 years old).

OMFG. David, my friend, I'm not usually a thief, but I'm stealing that. Thank you for making tears of laughter stream down my face.

Thank you so much for setting me straight! Your attention to my egregious indiscretion is very noteworthy.

Sorry for the confusion. I did not contradict myself. My central issue was with Stevie's solo songs, which are signiture solo songs. However, Don't Let Me Down Again is not just a Buckingham Nicks song -- it's also a Fleetwood Mac song. It was an early staple of their live sets, and appears on their LIVE album. That makes perfect sense.

Still need clarification? Consult my lawyer.

I know that. But from the phrasing of the statement it sounded like the song had been considered. Thank you for imploring me to re-read the quote. I re-read really good!
