At Nassau Colisseum on Long Island, the decent seats were $175.00 a pop. There might have been more expensive ones, too. Yikes!

I saw them twice in 2001, in Salt Lake City and Chicago. I was on the floor about 50 rows back in SLC and those tickets were about $200. Spectacular show! As someone stated, they did play for about 3 hours with lots of cool piano "playoffs". Well worth it. Elton's band is awesome.
The show in Chicago, which was about 4 months later was not as good. I was in the second level and paid about $100. This was toward the end of a long tour and you could tell Elton was pooped out. Billy still performed well. All said and done, I would still pay $200 to see them. Even if you wouldn't consider yourself a huge fan. They are terrific performers.

i got a good seat
Woohooo i managed to snage a ticket in the 100 section, near the back...but is not any worse than being in the very back ofthe floor. It ony costed me 85 bucks too. All the nosebleeds behind the stage are sold out, which i kinda funny.
All the not so great seats sold before the good seats. -Alex ps The show is on March 9 - looks like its right in first leg of the tour..right in the middle i think. |
