Add me to the Honey Hi love. Such a sweet vocal.

I also love her vocal work on:

Ask Anybody
Isn't It Midnight
Who's Dreaming This Dream
Hollywood (Some Other Kind Of Town)
Morning Rain
I'd Rather Go Blind

The intro and the solo are breathtaking. Along with beautiful words and vocals.

Her vocals on most of these are great. But, wow, Morning Rain? That's the one studio vocal of Christine's on a Mac record that I think is pretty awful! I think she chose the wrong key for it.

Oh noes! It's an unusual choice I agree. From the very first time I heard the song I knew right then that I'd love it forever (took me years to figure all the lyrics). This song makes me happy and her deeper, strange voice is just so soothing and dreamy to the music. It sounds corny, I know. I can't say if it's technically off vocally (I'm untrained)...but it sure sounds good to me.

Slightly off topic, but I have to say that Prove Your Love is one of Christine's most overlooked, yet best songs. It's a classic and would make my top twenty list. It's written well, and has a haunting aura. There's a hint of jazz in it, and the strings are an unusual but dramatic compliment. Plus, her excellent piano playing is upfront in the mix.

I can only imagine how great Stevie's vocal accents would be in it.

Hey, if it makes you happy, that's awesome.

I actually love the music in the song (her piano playing, Kirwan's stinging guitar).

I agree! Oddly, Christine herself doesn't think her vocal's very good on it. I would love to have heard that song re-done on an album like Tusk, when there was so much attention paid to choral-like background vocals.
