Guess I have to go with "Oh Daddy" partly cause that song is mostly vocal with limited music.

This is about the quality of her vocal performance and not the song, right? If I've got that right, then my vote goes for two songs, both of which I happen to love as well.

One More Night (I just think her voice is so silken and beautiful on this track, and to think that it was recorded at a sound check...wow!)

Heart of Stone (see above, minus the sound check bit)

We miss your music a lot Christine. Hope you are happy.

You're right Kevin--its about the quality of the vocal performance. I love her vocal on One More Night!!

Heart of Stone
Little Lies
Say That You Love Me

Speaking of which, does anyone know anything about "Heart of Stone"? That is a song that has interested and fascinated me for years. It was on the box set, and certainly you can hear Stevie on it, but was it recorded specifically for the box set or is it a leftover from another album and if so which one? Does anyone know?

Heart of Stone, Love Shines, and Paper Doll were all recorded specifically for the box set. If my memory serves me right (it's easy enough to check) Paper Doll is not produced by the same person as the others.

Heart of Stone and Love Shines were recorded specifically for the box set. Stevie did backup vocals on Heart of Stone. Love Shines was just Christine/Billy and of course Mick and John.

Paper Doll was runner up for the '88 GH album, which ultimately went to "No Questions Asked". Supposedly Mick prefered NQA. So Paper Doll gets touched up a little bit by Lindsey and others for inclusion in the box set. It was released as a single in the US. Love Shines was the single abroad.

At least this is what a Ledgie said sometime back.

Love Shines is one of my all time top 10 FM songs.

Mick's an idiot. Paper Doll kicks NQA's ass to the curb.

Wow, someone else likes Honey Hi! And admits it. wouldn't be the same without the backing vocals, though. I'd have to say Songbird for the vocal.

But Spare Me A Little is up there.
