Default Mario!

What can you tell us? I'm all for head colds, or the minor flu.

Yes, definitely. I have no idea what the facts are. While, I've heard rumors that it was serious, there is no news.

I certainly hope it is something transitory and minor like the flu. We'll think good thoughts.

This was posted on Facebook a few hours ago, from The Brickyard in Carlisle, that Sunday's show there has also been cancelled.

Quote:
We've just received word that Peter Green has been taken ill into hospital. This means Sunday's gig is now cancelled unfortunately.

We're hoping to reschedule the date in the near future but given the fact we don't know how long lasting or serious Peter's condition is, we have decided to offer refunds for the time being.
Certainly hope it's nothing too serious and that he's better and back to playing again soon.

Thanks Mario - as the others have said, what would we do without You? This first message was worrying - mostly because of "what usually happens", and also because anything can happen at PG's age, like heart trouble and so on.

One should think that it would be possible to take a break without going to hospital?
Anyway PG & F has been touring almost constantly for 18 months now, and PG is not 21 anymore.....

Let's hope he is ok now and that this hasn't been a set-back for him. Good luck to Peter Green.

Question

It looks like he's no longer appearing at the Colne R&B festival now either
Apparently the Trevor Burton Band is the replacement....

According to PG & F' facebook they are still playing Colne. The Bluesfestival at Colne's homepage mentions Peter Green on the top of the bill, but when you go to the date sunday the 29th they don't appear there.

He probably needs a longer break. It would be nice with some more information though.
