Limited edition Seeds We Sow on red vinyl

SoundStageDirect has a June 25 release, while amazon lists it as the 5th. It says it is limited to 1000! Also, Amazon says it is an import, but I am not sure from where, as amazon.co.uk also says import. Possibly European?

(Can we get Under the Skin now as well?)

I ordered this, but Amazon keeps saying they are unable to fulfill the order and asks if I want them to keep looking. They probably won't have it until the same date that Sound Stage Direct will be getting it.

It says Temporarily Out of Stock. I hope they didn't sell out of the 1,000 copies already...I want one! Hope they get more.

Ahhh, the Soundstage Direct does have it. I guess Amazon sold out of it's part of the 1,000 perhaps.

How does it sound? Is it the same master as the CD or did they do a proper vinyl master?

It isn't perfectly quiet, but no really distracting pops. It would appear they spent a little time preparing it for vinyl, though there are no credits given to who mastered it, other than the original CD info. The fact that they spread it over two discs, when I am pretty sure it could have fit tightly on one was a good sign. Someone on the Steve Hoffman forum did some comparing.

Cheers for the link. I might pick it up soon enough. One question, is there still distortion in the right channel on When She Comes Down and (more subtly) on the left on End of Time? If that is solved I'll definitely pick one up.

The lack of distortion on When She Comes Down is so noticeable I didn't even have to look for it. When the vinyl was announced I had hoped that it wouldn't be on it, but when I went to listen the first time I had forgotten to listen for it, but when it got to that part, I immediately noticed the difference. Which further makes it crazy that it exists on the CD version. I wasn't familiar with the End of Time distortion, but don't hear it here.

I wish they had included a bonus EP with the extra tracks that were only released digitally.

Fantastic news! That distortion annoys me so much. If I've not missed the 1000 copies I'll order myself one tomorrow. It's worth it just for that.
