Thumbs up New songs on the album that are confirmed..

Lindsey's "Come" and "Peecekeeper"
Stevie's "Say You Will", "Thrown Down", and "Ilume"(if the title hasn't changed)...

I updated the change on my first post....So, in total we know of 5......A wierd thing I noticed is that there have been no mentions lately of a double album...Is it possible that that idea has been scratched?

back when mick did the guitar center interview...he said it was nearly confirmed it would be a double album...weeks later he did more press and it mentioned a double album. Some of the articles about the very best of set mention a double album i believe, so im hoping its still a double album

Default Say it aint so!!

Nooo what are you doing to me!! How can it NOT be a double album?!?!?!

Actually, in all seriousness, renting a house and working on the thing for inumerbale years - it aint an 18-tracker lol!!

Can I add Gift of Screws to that list?? As it was officially stated a possible title for the album was this - Is that enough of a resonable assumption that the song will be in there? The title by istefl would be a bit too obscure.

Do you guys remember this comment Stevie made in the eUniverse interview in May 2001?

And we'd absolutely tour because, you know, we all really would like to do this one more time. And, I've really decided that it's gonna happen and when I decide something's gonna happen, I'm gonna make it happen, you know, it will happen. And I'm like the little, you know, I'm the little peacekeeper, I'm talking to everybody and I'm making sure Lindsey's got the new songs and, it's like I'm building it now, you know, but I've been doing this for 100 years. Whenever I'm doing my solo work I'm always working on Fleetwood Mac too. And whenever I'm doing Fleetwood Mac, I'm always kind of working on my solo work, so for me it's all this one big project.

Oh, now there's a fresh idea (sarcasm)!!
A Lindsey song about Stevie.....hmmm...has that ever happened before?
Do you think she's ever written a song about him before (more sarcasm)?

That's good quote-spotting there David!
Actually, when I heard that title, all I could think of was the line from Fall From Grace......"high priestess, she's the keeper of the peace in this". this is another nice little tie-in!

Whatever it is, I'm ready to just disect the hell out of it. That's the most fun about new songs from them!

DownOnRodeo...im not sure if you misunderstood me but i said i thought mick said it was a double album indeed.

I also looked at another article and mick said they wanted to have it out for christmas but since it would be a double album they would need more time, hence why its not due till the spring. Im pretty sure we can count on a double album.

I hope..

This still betta be a double CD. And not like just 10 songs on each CD...at least 15. Cause you can fit 20 songs on a CD easily. I'm talking 30-35 tracks.

Well, you can find the original poem to Illume at nicksfix.com if you find the link to Stevie's Journal. It's somewhere in there. The original Thrown Down is at sararhiannon.com under Demo and Outtake Lyrics, the first link off to the left under Features. The reason I say "the original" is because Stevie's lyrics sometimes change as the song goes from demo to studio. One of the most significant of these is Rooms on Fire...I read the demo lyrics the other day and while most are the same, they are in a totally different order and everything. I do anticipate some changes, but there might not be. I don't know where the lyrics for the other three are though.

Wink Hmm...

How about LINDSEY on the cover in drag? LMAO!!

How about all THREE guys on the cover in drag?! And Stevie dressed as a man. LMAO!!

OMG, WAIT...Stevie dressed as a NUN with a witch hat on...Lindsey dressed in that AC/DC guitarists' outfit (the schoolboy one!! ), John in a tux and Mick in a gorilla uniform. Now, THAT would get some PUBLICITY DANGIT!!
